Combined Cosmetic And Functional Septo-Rhinoplasty Review
This High School senior had an open septorhinoplasty to both reshape her external nose and to improve her nasal breathing. She had suffered from chronic nasal obstruction for many years following prior nasal trauma. This created a very crooked septum along with a prominent bridge hump that she was very self conscious about.
"I had a Septoplasty/Rhinoplasty by Dr. Lamperti in July, just 1 month after my 18th birthday, and I'm very happy with my results. I'm glad that my parents and I chose for me to have my surgery sooner, rather than later. I can hardly believe I had my senior photos taken just a month after my surgery. I feel great about myself and how I look, and I'm able to breathe through my nose again!
I broke my nose years ago while playing baseball. I was hit in the nose with a baseball bat. I had a deviated septum and a large bump on the bridge of my nose as a result of the injury. I also had a hard time with sinus and breathing issues. I didn't sleep well, and it was challenging to keep up while playing sports, especially basketball. And I didn't feel good about how I looked, and I’ve felt self-conscious of my nose for most of my life.
Dr. Lamperti was amazing throughout the process, and I appreciated how he answered all of my mom's and my questions. He's a great listener, and is genuinely concerned about his patients. He was open and honest, and was always available by email or phone to follow up with me or my mom. He was very thorough. We never felt rushed, and he spent plenty of time consulting with us. We felt 100% confident in choosing Dr. Lamperti, and we're so glad that we found him.
I'm very happy with my results, and we are so grateful for Dr. Lamperti's expertise. He is an artist that does an amazing job. My mom and I are so happy we found a surgeon that was concerned about every aspect of the surgical outcome-- my overall look, my sinus and breathing issues, and the long-term structural results of my nose. The surgery was well worth it, and I feel so much better. My mom has referred Dr. Lamperti to our family and friends, and we will continue to do so. He has changed my life, and I'd do it all over again!"

Revision Rhinoplasty To Correct Problems Resulting From Two Prior Surgeries
This patient moved from Portugal to Vancouver, British Columbia to have his revision rhinoplasty surgery. He had developed singificant breathing obstruction following his prior surgeries along with tip pinching and an overall unnatural appearing nose that he was unhappy with. Following surgery the patient is able to breath much better and he now has a more natural appearing nose as well. You can read more about his surgery and see before and after photos of his revision rhinoplasty results here.
"I had a revision rhinoplasty done by Dr Lamperti in Bellevue Seattle and I only have good things to say.
I undergone to two previous failure rhinoplasties done in my country Portugal and along with the bad aesthetics results I also had very hard time breathing. I had several problems such as deviated septum, collapse of the walls of the nose, poly beak deformity, pinched nose and inverted V due to a massive withdraw of the cartilages of the lateral side of the nose and also where I had a big lump.
I was miserable for 9 years since I first did my first procedure and I didn't have any hope left. However because I have a sister living in Vancouver Canada, I started thinking that maybe there someone could help me so I begun a thorough search for experts in this matter. I came from Portugal and went to several appointments with doctors both in Vancouver and Seattle (since it was close by and the prices were around the same) but I wasn't pleased with the options that some of the doctors had to show to me. However one day I came across Dr Lamperti cause he commented on one of my posts on Realself and so I saw his website. I liked of what I saw and I booked for an appointment. He was very thoughtful, performed and thorough examination on me, presented me the problems and the solutions and seemed to be very caring and attentive. For these reasons I decided to have a surgery with him and also because of his patient's pictures on his website.
He helped me by treating my nose with spreader grafts, Alar batten gratfs, spacer grafter for the tip and although I had some issues on the early phase of the recovery he always had time to answer my e-mails, to see me in person and to tell that it would be normal to be facing some of the phenomenons that I was experiencing, saying that they would go away with time and he was right. You can see the before and after pictures of me on his website and I'm available to answer to some of your questions regarding the procedure.
He always treated me as a human being who needed help and not just as another client and a prospective deal like I felt with some other doctors.
I advise anyone to go for several appointments with several different doctors to see your options and never trust in what you read on some rating websites cause it's all about marketing and fake comments. I'm a real person who had lots of problems in life and luckily found this amazing doctor who knows what he is doing and is very easygoing and competent even though he's a young doctor, but in my perspective it's not the quantity of the surgeries as some doctors advocate in their websites that counts, instead is the quality and the difficulty of them that makes the real experience that a doctor possesses."

Young Male Revision Rhinoplasty To Correct An Unnatural, Pinched Tip With Too Much Rotation
This patient had a revision open septorhinoplasty to correct his feminized, pinched tip that resulted after prior rhinoplasty surgery elsewhere. Dr. Lamperti improved the patient's tip support and made his nose less upturned as well. He also improved the patient's nasal blockage that resulted from an internal scar web that formed from the prior surgery
"I had undergone a primary rhinoplasty 2 years ago with a surgeon who left my nose looking quite unnatural, pinched, and upturned. I finally decided to undergo a revision and I was on the hunt to find the most skilled, top notch revision expert that would be able to address all the insecurities I had with my nose. I'm extremely satisfied that I selected Dr. Lamperti as my plastic surgeon.
Dr. Lamperti is without a doubt one of the top plastic surgeons in the US. I'm 10 days out of surgery and my nose looks AMAZING! I couldn't believe how natural it looks today. My tip is still very swollen and it's expected that tip swelling will last several months but overall I'm 100% satisfied with my new nose. My new nose really fits my face well and makes me look great!
The whole process from start to finish was very nice and easy. Dr. Lamperti listens to every concern you have and he really makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I received calls and emails after my surgery how I'm recovering and if my pain was alright."

Revision Rhinoplasty to Repair Feminized, Collapsed Prior Rhinoplasty Results Review
This patient flew to Seattle to have Dr. Lamperti repair his over done prior rhinoplasty. The patient was essentially looking to reverse his prior surgery and re-create full bridge and tip. He was unhappy how his nose had taken on a bland, feminized, operated-on appearance. Dr. Lamperti performed a revision septorhinoplasty which included rib grafting to build up the patient's bridge and repair the patient's septal deviation and nasal valve collapse.
"I came into his office with a botched nose job. I'm male and I stupidly got a nose job for no reason other than curiosity and bad advice. I had a female's nose, symmetrical, and it just screamed nose job. My nostrils flared, there was a midvault collapse on one side and cartilage from the right side was completely removed. I looked hideous and gross. I got stares of disgust and laughed at whenever I went out. I became a hermit and VERY self conscious around others. As a male I felt emasculated. He literally restored my life. Notice this was no ordinary revision. I was asking for the impossible and he made it possible. I wanted my nose "Romanized" again, restore ptosis and to make it fuller from the front. He did all of that. I now have a Roman nose, it droops from the profile and it is much fuller. I also breathe much better. I go out without fear now and it's only been one week from the procedure. I look the in the mirror and I feel good again. Before I would dread looking at the mirror. Now my nose finally looks natural and has character. I cannot thank him enough."

Revision Rhinoplasty Review
"I am so happy! Breathing-wise I can feel a huge difference on my right side already and I know my left side will be great once the swelling goes down a bit more. I was so nervous to have the procedure because I wasn't very happy with the results of my first surgery and was worried about the outcome of having even more work done. After my first surgery, I was self-conscious about my nose and didn't even like to smile. But I have been smiling all day and so happy with the results!!!!! I can breathe and it looks terrific! This completely fits my face!
This has made a big difference for me.
Thank you very much for such a terrific job!"

Just wanted to say thank you. The swelling has really gone down ... and my nose is looking great. I've gotten such positive feedback from the people I've shared it with, and I couldn't be more pleased.

I have had allergies most of my life and combined with a deviated septum and collapsed left nostril, was never able to get much air through my nose. Now I can breath normally. My recovery time and discomfort were minimal.
I simply cannot find fault with any area of my care. I will continue to recommend Dr. Lamperti to my friends and family. Dr. Lamperti did a wonderful job and I am literally breathing easier! Dr. Lamperti is very passionate about his work and spent a lot of time answering my questions and educating me. I only wish I had seen him sooner and done this years ago!

I chose Dr. Lamperti after I met up with 3 other surgeons in CA.
Although I liked 2 of them other than Dr. Lamperti, I found Dr. Lamperti
was more receptive and listened to my exact specifications patiently
without dismissing even my stupid questions sometimes. He was flexible
and very polite and always smiling. I saw some of the results of
revision rhinoplasty by him and I liked what I saw. They did not look
like very-done noses and looked natural. Also the specific issues I had
were dealt with well, by him on many patients. His pricing was
reasonable as I had researched the other providers. I felt confident
going under the knife by Dr. Lamperti. This was the reason I chose him.
Had/having a good experience with the Doctor and team. He addresses all
my issues patiently. Post-op, he is very responsive to my queries and
does not ignore answering or calling me back to address my worries. He
is also skilled with the revision rhinoplasty procedure as he takes
great care to analyse the needs of the patient by listening to them
intently pre-op and address them during the procedure. He makes his
calls based on what is best and least invasive to the patient. His
recommendations during the healing period are helpful and he is
realistic with his approach, doesn't leave the patient guessing for
answers.
P.S., , San Francisco, CA
Dr. Lamperti expertly built up the base of my nose to forehead with cartilage, to finally create a much better looking nose, replacing an unattractive depressed region to a nice, straight profile now. At the same time he narrowed my nostrils and corrected my deviated septum: all at once.
I love the results, and what made the whole procedure easier was Dr. Lamperti's professionalism, friendliness and listening to my specific concerns/requests. Also, I never waited more than 10 minutes in the waiting room - very efficient and quick visits before and after the operation. I highly recommend Dr. Lamperti - one of best experiences in a hospital setting I ever had.

Dr. Thomas Lamperti Patient Review
My experience with Dr.Lamperti as my surgeon for Rhinoplasty,
Deviated Septum Correction, and Italian Lip Lift procedures has been
positive far beyond my initial expectations. Dr.Lamperti is a
meticulously skilled, aesthetically gifted surgeon, who, in choosing to
focus on the face has uniquely honed his practice to most benefit the
relatively complex challenges facial surgery presents. Rhinoplasty is
one of the most technically demanding and nuanced procedures in plastic
surgery; knowing this I carefully researched Seattle-area options,
looking for a skillful, creative, receptive surgeon. I sat through
several consultations with other area surgeons prior to meeting with
Dr.Lamperti, and although he set aside much more time than any of the
other physicians, I knew immediately he was the right choice. His
passion for surgery, receptive ear, clear communication style, and
finely developed aesthetic (obvious as he discussed procedure specifics
and performed digital work-up) gave me the confidence I needed to
schedule surgery I'd contemplated for years, before I left the office
the same day of my consultation. My experience in surgery and afterward
healing, has been equally positive. Although facial surgery is
inherently traumatic, I have heard, and can now attest, that finely
honed surgical technique can significantly reduce healing time, pain,
and scarring. Although healing and scarring are highly individualized,
arguably significantly genetic responses, I've undergone surgery before
and with no other strongly differentiating factors, experienced with
Dr. Lamperti as my surgeon, a much faster rate of healing with minimal
scarring. Any facial alterations, elective or otherwise, is significant.
I can't imagine trusting this highly personal, sensitive work to
anybody but the best in the discipline. I am so grateful to have had
Dr.Lamperti as my plastic surgeon and I can't speak highly enough of my
experience with him; I'm happy to answer any specific questions or
further detail my experience.

"I have to tell you that, so far, I have been extremely happy with the surgery. I am breathing so much better now I can't believe it. And I think you did a great job on the cosmetic improvements on my nose too. Thank you again for all you did for me. You obviously are very good at what you do."

Septo-Rhinoplasty Patient Review
I made the decision to have a Septorhinoplasty because when I was growing up I was never quite happy with the appearance of my nose. I approached Dr. Lamperti because after working for him I was confident that as a provider he would be the perfect fit. There is a finesse and elegance to Dr. Lamperti's approach to surgery that assured me that the cosmetic result of my own surgery would be something I would be very pleased with.
After discussion in the clinic, Dr. Lamperti thoroughly laid out his plan for my surgery and was realistic about his expectations and what I as the patient should expect. My nose to describe it was thick at the bridge, a little crooked with a downward slope and I had bulbous (round boxy) tip. Additionally the nostrils collapsed when I breathed in.
I had a complex surgery that involved a lot of work. The approach was an open one which involved rasping and fracturing the bridge of the nose to reset and narrow it. He also was able to correct the slope improving my projection. The most significant change was the tip where he managed to give the "family nose" I wanted with a nice narrow masculine profile. He was able to provide support to the rims of the nostril and they no longer collapsed.
After the surgery I had a nasal cast and some interior packing in the nose. With this surgery I did have some bruising as a result of the fracturing of the nasal bones. The pain was very manageable and after a couple of days I really needed no additional pain medication. After two weeks I had a follow up appointment and the cast was removed and the nasal packing came out. Even with the swelling I could see already the amazing improvement in the physical appearance of my nose. As a result of the surgery I had a new found confidence and even made a life change, lost 40 pounds and now maintain a very active lifestyle. My nose over the continuation of the 12 months that it continued to "settle in" only improved and I was very satisfied with my results. The best anecdote I can probably share is that after the surgery and some time had passed I went to visit my family and the changes where so remarkable yet so subtle that not even my parents could put a finger on what was so different about me. I eventually had to point it out.

Revision Rhinoplasty With Tissue Bank Rib Cartilage Patient Review
Dr. Lamperti is one of the nicest and most professional Dr's I've ever seen, I'm serious. He is respectful, and actually listens and takes your wishes and opinions into a high regard. He is an incredibly skilled surgeon, but has the ability to explain things in layman's terms without making you feel like an idiot. He has a good sense of humor, and is enjoyable to talk to. I knew I was in the right hands from the moment he stepped into the room. I had suffered a traumatic injury to my face 7 years ago, and 6 years ago I had a nose job to correct a few issues that came from that, medical and cosmetic. Well....he didn't do a very great job, and I was incredibly dissatisfied and depressed with my appearance from that point on. Also the functionality of my nose was beginning to deteriorate. My septum had collapsed almost entirely into my left nostril. My nose was painful as well as unsightly.I decided it was finally time to act on things (actually...well overdue. haha) Dr. Lamperti was incredibly professional regarding the state of my nose, and never spoke ill of my previous doctor. He confirmed that my concerns were legitimate, when past doctors I had consulted with made me feel like I was being nit-picky. Seeing that revision rhinoplasties are far more complicated, and the fact that I had been seriously disappointed by my last procedure, I was pretty nervous. The bandages came off over a week ago, and all I could do was sob when I looked in the mirror. For the first time in 6 years, I saw my "old" face... even with all the bruising and swelling going on, it was there. As things are healing, it looks like a different nose every day, haha. But I was prepared for that, and the general shape is just so much better. I can't wait for everything to calm down so I can see the final version. All of his positive reviews are very well deserved (and I totally did my research on doctors for my procedure). If I ever have any other plastic surgery issues in which he provides, I will without a doubt turn to him. I will continue to recommend him highly to people.

"I am one year post op & I am so grateful for the outcome. I did a lot of time searching for doctor's and reading reviews. I am so glad I chose him for my doctor. Primary Septorhinoplasty Patient Review
"What sets Dr. Lamperti apart from other surgeons is that he was the most attentive and "present" during the consultation. I met with many rhinoplasty specialists and general plastic surgeons during my research, and Dr. Lamperti was the only surgeon who actually spent the full allotted time (60 minutes) of the consultation with me. He took the "before" images of my face himself, and created the "after" images so we could discuss and agree on my post-op look. He fully explained the surgical process and planned his approach for the most controlled and precise results. For my nose, that meant an "open" rhinoplasty surgery. Most of all, he was truly and sincerely a kind person. This was a rare quality to find among the surgeons I met with in Portland and Seattle!
Consultations with other surgeons were far more disappointing: I was rushed through one consultation in under 15 minutes, I was up-sold on a chin implant by another surgeon for an extra $3,000, I watched one administrative assistant create the "after" photos and guess at my surgical outcome, I discussed anesthesia options and the surgical process with another surgeon's non-board certified assistant or RN (credentials were never disclosed) because he was double-booked with another patient, and I was dismissed by yet another surgeon when I expressed concerns about his recommendation to only wait 2 weeks post-op to begin high-impact exercise training for a half marathon.
Obviously, I chose Dr. Lamperti.
On the day of surgery, everyone on Dr. Lamperti's team was very warm and friendly, which put me at ease. I had clear expectations of my post-op recovery and clear instructions of what to do and what to avoid for the first 4 weeks. Plus, staff from the surgical center and Dr. Lamperti himself called to check on me after the surgery was over! It was nice knowing that I was not just another patient in a revolving door - the whole team actually cared about how I was feeling post-op.
I'm currently 3 weeks into my recovery, and even though the swelling has not fully resolved, I'm ridiculously happy with the results. After 34 years of living with my old nose, I never thought I would look in the mirror and feel proud of my reflection. I'm happy to say that my new nose has the profile and front views that I expected from the "after" photos that Dr. Lamperti created. Plus, my new nose still fits with the rest of my facial features so I don't look like a completely different person. I am very pleased with the entire experience and feel that it was well worth the time and money that I invested. I would highly recommend Dr. Lamperti to anyone who is looking for a skilled rhinoplasty surgeon in the Pacific Northwest area!"

Septorhinoplasty, Chin Implant and Jaw Filler Injection Dr. Lamperti Patient Review
PHENOMENAL I have detailed my cosmetic journey on REALSELF, so this will be short. After visiting 3 other doctor consults, I just felt completely confident and at ease that my money would be well spent on surgery that would give me the results that I was looking for. In one day, I had the following procedures: * Open Rhino * Chin Implant * Radiesse fillers for jaw * Restylane fillers for under eyes Total spent: $15,000+ Used Care Credit to pay for it. My monthly payment is LESS THAN A CAR PAYMENT! SO worth it! Should have done this years ago! While my experience is not the same for everyone out there, and individual results may vary, this was my post-op experience: Friday - Surgery on Tylenol and Fioricet for pain, slept for hours! Saturday - Tylenol for pain (about a 3 on a scale 1-10) up, moving around. Sunday - Tylenol for pain, no prescription meds necessary (about a 2), took a stroll in the park for fresh air (though I could only breathe thru mouth). Went to movie theater that night. My face was swollen, but there was no bruising or burst blood vessels. I wasn't black and blue--none of that happened. Honestly, the BIGGEST SHOCK/PANIC MOMENT was the instant that I woke up from surgery. The last thing I remember was being pampered in the operating room right before surgery. The next thing I knew, I was lethargic, weak, disoriented and realizing that I was bandaged up and could not breathe through my nose (obviously). The nurses were EXCEEDINGLY kind, helpful, patient and calming. I remember thinking, well, What's done is done, I can only heal from this. Dr. Lamperti called me later after surgery and the next day to check in on me. The level of care was awesome. At no point was I sad, mad, scared, suicidal, angry, or whatever. I wasn't regretful or disappointed. I didn't cry or weep or sulk. I was just thrilled that it was over and the healing process could begin. If you choose a rhinoplasty, be aware of the healing process. Consider that you will deal with stiffness, numbness, sensitivity, swelling... It's probably the biggest change you can make on your face that has relative delayed satisfaction. By that, I mean, you cannot expect the level of beauty immediately after surgery. Exercise common sense. It takes time for all the swelling and numbness to go away. Within 2-3 weeks after, you will see/experience significant reduction of swelling. The pain (for me anyway), was gone after a week. And I was only using Tylenol except for day 1, which was Fioricet. The pain, despite all my procedures, was MINIMAL. Discomfort was more annoying. ONE FINAL THING: LOCATION Don't be lured in by FANCY office locations or by doctors with 20 personal assistants. Dr. Lamperti's office is in a medical highrise (with lots of other plastic surgeons throughout the building). His office feels more "medical" than it does a lavish lawyer's office. DON'T LET THAT SCARE YOU AWAY! SHEEEEESH!!!! I couldn't care less that he's not on the 100th floor. I don't care that he doesn't have an army of personal assistants. What I CARE about is his training, certification, experience and quality of work. That's all that matters. I've been on RealSelf and seen horror shows, sadly, done by other doctors who spend more time worrying about the image of their office than the quality of their craft. Go with quality. Go with your gut. And at the very least, get a consultation with Dr. Lamperti.

Rhinoplasty Result is A 'Dream Come True'
"I am So grateful for an excellent result after rhinoplasty with Dr. Lamperti. It’s quite magic to go from a witch looking nose – with the bump, projection plus a mole, to a straight, nice nose. I also had the mole removed. I could never accept my nose no matter how hard I tried but now I have to be careful not to become too proud of my nose! :) Dr. Lamperti has a very pleasant and interesting personality. The fact that he is into arts: music, photography, shows that he is a creative person and has an innate feel for aesthetic, an important aspect for a facial cosmetic surgeon. He is a great listener and understands exactly what you want and give you all the information you need. As for his surgical skills, the many incredibly successful rhinoplasties and rhinoplasty revisions speak for themselves. Another very good thing I would like to mention is that Dr. Lamperti works with wonderful, caring anesthesiologist and is surrounded by an excellent team. I appreciated the nurses’ help, from the first one who welcomed and prepared me for the surgery, to the ones in the operating room and the last one who gave me some extra time until I felt ready to leave the hospital. The last but the least the last, Dr. Lamperti’s personalized approach inspire trust. May God bless Dr. Lamperti for beautifying so many faces and lives!"

Septorhinoplasty Patient Review
"Dr. Lamperti has been a life-changer. I’ve always had a deviated septum, complete with breathing issues and chronic congestion. And then, in my late 40s, I broke my nose. I could scarcely breathe through my nose, and it looked significantly crooked, with a twisted tip. I consulted with Dr Lamperti because of his emphasis on both function and aesthetics, and after our initial meeting, scheduled my procedure with confidence. I am now four months post-op, and still marvel on a daily basis at how much better I can breathe (and how much less tissue I need). My nose is healing beautifully, looking better every week (I had an open procedure, so months of subtle swelling at the tip is to be expected). I couldn’t be happier and truly could never have imagined what a total difference my septorhinoplasty would make: Breathing easy and looking good feels like having my cake and eating it too."

But over the past 2 weeks my sinuses have opened up even more and now I truly feel that I can breath freely for the first time in my life. It is wonderful. I sleep better, I feel more alert, and even my sense of smell is improved. Thank you for this tremendous improvement in my quality of life. I am truly grateful."

Complex Saddle Nose Deformity Rhinoplasty With Rib Cartilage Grafting Patient Review
"I can't say enough how happy I am that I found Dr. Lamperti! I had a pretty significant saddle nose deformity from losing cartilage after a bad flare from granulomatosis with polyangiitis (wegeners granulomatosis). Many doctors were hesitant to operate as reconstruction with this type of vasculitis can have serious complications. After being in remission for a few years I met with Dr Lamperti as he has experience with reconstruction in vasculitis patients. Not only did he do an excellent job but he is super kind and has a wonderful bed side manner! Thank you Dr. Lamperti for your amazing skill and artistry and for the confidence having a regular nose back has given me!"

Dr. Lamperti Revision Rhinoplasty Patient Review
This revision rhinoplasty patient had surgery with Thomas Lamperti, MD to correct severe nasal valve collapse and a hanging columella that resulted from a prior rhinoplasty done several years ago. Only two weeks from her surgery she's already breathing better and is thrilled wtih her results.
"Dr. Lamperti is the best! I met with three other doctors before my consultation with him and I knew right away he was the right one for me. Dr. Lamperti actually listens to his patients and sets up realistic expectations while focusing on achieving an amazing functional and cosmetic outcome. He has wonderful bedside manner and explains everything in detail, he personally emailed me after my consult with more information on things we discussed, and responded promptly to any additional questions I had.
I had revision rhinoplasty to correct breathing issues (collapsed nasal valve) and wanted a subtle change to refine the tip of my nose and correct a hanging columella. I’m beyond thrilled with my results and I’m only two weeks out..."

Rhinoplasty Review: "I've never felt better about myself"
"Dr.Thomas Lamperti is an artist! I came into his office with a bulbous nose and a deviated septum my nostrils were originally disproportionate and I had difficulty breathing my nose was excessively long and too big for my face. He emailed me a simulation of my new nose and answered all of my questions before surgery.
I am now one week post-op and I’ve never felt better about myself I’ve been given so many compliments and I finally feel like I can come out into the public without feeling insecure about my nose. This has been the best decision I have made in my life! My new nose is an exact copy of the simulation he sent me and looks very natural. Dr. Lamperti is the go-to if you care about quality and perfection."

Rhinoplasty, Chin Implant and Facial Filler Patient Review
PHENOMENAL.... After visiting 3 other doctor consults, I just felt completely confident and at ease that my money would be well spent on surgery that would give me the results that I was looking for. In one day, I had the following procedures: * Open Rhino * Chin Implant * Radiesse fillers for jaw * Restylane fillers for under eyes...SO worth it! Should have done this years ago! I wasn't regretful or disappointed.... Lamperti.
