Combined Cosmetic And Functional Septo-Rhinoplasty Review

This High School senior had an open septorhinoplasty to both reshape her external nose and to improve her nasal breathing. She had suffered from chronic nasal obstruction for many years following prior nasal trauma. This created a very crooked septum along with a prominent bridge hump that she was very self conscious about.

I broke my nose years ago while playing baseball. I was hit in the nose with a baseball bat. I had a deviated septum and a large bump on the bridge of my nose as a result of the injury. I also had a hard time with sinus and breathing issues. I didn't sleep well, and it was challenging to keep up while playing sports, especially basketball. And I didn't feel good about how I looked, and I’ve felt self-conscious of my nose for most of my life.
